Our book club read the book "Salt." It's a history of salt - that stuff in the salt shaker, throughout human culture.
All the talk of cheese and ham made us hungry, so of course we had to eat while we discussed the book!

At the next event we'll dicuss the books "Mountains Beyond Mountains" and "Three Cups of Tea." We chose "Mountains Beyond Mountains" in honor of Laurie's mother who passed away on January 8 and spent some time in Haiti as a nurse.
