Is Alexander Wang an American?

Watching the Olympics this past weekend the first thing I thought when I saw the American team was that Ralph Lauren needs to go. He managed the dress the entire team in sweaters that look like they belong at Kohl's.

Sports teams aren't runway models and I don't think anyone expects them to be too chic, but the busy sweaters the Americans wore didn't do a thing for me besides remind me of Ralph Lauren.

Looking through Fashion Week, I think the Olympic Committee needs Alexander Wang to design uniforms. I want uniforms that look sleek and modern. World-class athletes aren't supposed to look like cowboys or as if they're on their way for hot chocolate at the lodge. They're supposed to be sleek and ready to weather the elements to win their event.
