Trip to Cleveland aka -"Spirit Mag"

We headed to Cleveland this weekend for a wedding. More on that later.
We flew on Southwest out of Baltimore. Slight delay leaving, on-time coming back. The one issue we had was that coming back we brought cousin Kim with us. She was heading onto Providence. Kim's Dad lost her boarding pass. We had some unhappy moments racing to the airport wondering if they'd issue a new one. Totally unfounded! Unlike Baltimore Cleveland had a two person line, where they were helpful. Forgetaboutit in Baltimore! So we all got onto the plane and made it safely home.

The Southwest magazine "Spirit" had a magazine article "Find Your Mystery" that inspired me to steal the magazine. We were were sticky fingered with Southwest this weekend. Dan "borrowed" a little pillow on the way out. He did return it on the way back. And there I was pocketing the magazine.

Anyway.... The full text can be found at www.spiritmag.com

I've conveniently scanned the highlights -- with a note that they skipped major portions of the country that they don't fly to!

So here we go. First - The Golden State:

So right away - where's Sharon McCone? And what about Bill Ponzi?

Moving up the coast to the Pacific Northwest.

So where' s J.A. Jance? Seattle has been slighted! What about the dog-sledder sleuths in Alaska?

Onto the Northeast:

As a pickly little point - Linda Fairstein is a New York City lawyer, who just happens to have a place on Martha's Vineyard, so I think she belongs in New York.

The Mid-East

Clearly Chicago has been dissed! Where is V.I.?

And what about the other great mystery parts of the country? How about Montana? Nevada Barr and others? How about Arizona and New Mexico ? Is Tony Hillerman to be ignored? What about Kansas ? What about Oklahoma?
More on this later.................................
