Today was a sad day. We received a call from Ingleside that Olive had passed away.She has not been well for some time, and over the past week had not been very alert or responsive, but she'd kind of been coming and going in recent months in that regard so we didn't think too much about it.
After much thought we've decided to have a memorial for her at Ingleside Chapel in November. Although she was a member of St. Mark Presbyterian in Rockville for many years, in more recent years her spiritual home had been at Ingleside. We had attended Chapel with here there and found that it suited her needs very well.
Since many of her friends and long-time St. Mark acquaintances are there that is where she'll have her final worship. She will be interned next to Mel in the St. Mark memorial garden.
We will miss her greatly.
