One of my standard vacation must-pack items is nail polish.
It's not for my hands. I rarely wear nail polish on my hands because it gets chipped so quickly it looks messy and I'd rather just go naked than look sloppy.
It's for my toes. No sooner do I get out of town than I think my toes need a new coat of polish.
This time, to avoid packing remover which can make a huge mess if it spills, I took the old polish off my toes at home. Right on target I got to the beach, unpacked and thought "I need nail polish."
Beach sand is hard on toe nail polish. When you walk along the shore, like I usually do, the sand and the water scour off the polish.
My determination is that OPI polish holds up the best, so that's what I pack.
